YUNDAMINDRA PROJECT AWAKENS WITH METALICITY’S DRILLING PLANS

Exploration Set to Unearth Gold Potential After a Decade

Metalicity Limited (ASX:MCT) is set to reinvigorate the Yundamindra Gold Project, advancing plans for its maiden drilling program—the first in over ten years at the site, focusing on the promising Western Line and the Landed at Last prospect.

Upcoming Drilling Highlights:

  • Drilling applications have been lodged, marking a return to exploration activity at Yundamindra, which has historically hosted only limited shallow drilling to a maximum depth of 50-80m.
  • The drilling program aims to explore the Western Line, honing in on the Landed at Last prospect, noted for its historic high-grade, near-surface gold yields.
  • Historic drilling at Landed at Last has produced exceptional results, including intercepts such as 11m at 5.85 g/t gold from 40m, and a high-grade 2m at 23.29 g/t gold from 30m.
  • The project is strategically located about 65km southeast of Leonora, within easy transport distance to numerous mills.
  • CSA Global is performing a detailed analysis of historical drilling data, with geophysical experts assessing survey data to refine drill targets and identify new high-grade gold prospects.

Potential and Openness of the Deposits:

  • The historic intercepts suggest significant mineralization that remains open both at depth and along strike, presenting substantial exploration upside.
  • Previously, Yundamindra has produced 74kt at 19.3g/t gold for 45,000 ounces, highlighting the high-grade, near-surface nature of the deposits.

Comments from the Managing Director:

Justin Barton, Metalicity’s Managing Director, conveyed optimism regarding the project’s prospects:

Following the recent favourable Wardens Court decision regarding the Yundamindra tenements, the Company has been undertaking extensive internal and external reviews of all historical data and activities at the highly prospective Yundamindra Gold Project, whilst it awaits final drilling approvals from the Department of Mines.

The Yundamindra Gold Project has not seen any drilling in over a decade and even then it has historically only seen limited shallow drilling yet delivered significant intercepts, and offers an opportunity for Metalicity to confirm and extend the known mineralisation occurrences within the area, whilst targeting new discoveries.

Metalicity’s maiden drilling program at the Yundamindra Gold Project will initially focus on the western line with highly prospective Landed at Last prospect, which have returned significant historical intercepts that remain open along strike and at depth.
