Visible gold accompanies an exceptional shallow intercept at the HHH deposit, including one metre at 3,625g/t gold.
Torque Metals Limited (ASX:TOR) has reported new reverse-circulation and diamond drilling results from the HHH deposit within its Ritz Gold Project in Western Australia.
The standout result came from RC hole 26HRC135, where large gold nuggets were visible in the drill sample. The hole returned 11 metres at 456g/t gold from 122 metres, including one metre at 3,625g/t gold.
Other reported intersections included:
- 7.9 metres at 1.37g/t gold from 146.2 metres in 26HDD012.
- 2 metres at 8.06g/t gold from 282 metres in 26HRC135.
- 8 metres at 3.79g/t gold from 111 metres in 26HRC127.
- 4 metres at 6.90g/t gold from 46 metres in 26HRC133.
Torque said all intersections are reported as down-hole lengths and their relationship to true widths remains uncertain.
The drilling is testing extensions to HHH’s mineral resource estimate of 73,000 ounces at an average grade of 2.0g/t gold, as well as potential lodes not previously modelled. Drilling is continuing at HHH and at the Paris deposit, including the high-grade PL3 lode.

Torque Metals managing director and chief executive officer Craig Jones:
It’s always exciting to see visible gold in panned drill samples, particularly when they are validated by spectacular assayed intercepts of this magnitude. The abundant visible gold in this shallow interval reflects the incredible endowment of the system and reinforces the high-grade growth potential we see across the Ritz Gold Project.
Importantly, it also highlights the scope to rapidly grow the current MRE at the HHH deposit, which stands at 73,000oz at an average grade of 2.0 g/t Au.
With heritage surveys now being completed across key unexplored prospects, we are gaining access to a much broader pipeline of high-priority targets identified as part of our RPM Strategy and will be able to systematically test the potential for extensions and new high-grade discoveries across our tenure. With two rigs operating, our exploration and growth campaign at Ritz is well and truly moving to the next level.
The decision to rename the broader asset the Ritz Gold Project instead of the Paris Gold Project is also an important step. It removes the potential for confusion between the Paris Gold Deposit and the much larger project area and better reflects the scale of the opportunity we are now pursuing across Paris, HHH, Strauss, Catacombs and our growing pipeline of exploration targets.
At the same time, drilling is continuing at the Paris Gold Deposit, including the high-grade PL3 Lode, with further assay results to come. We therefore have multiple opportunities to drive value via the drill bit – through continued growth of our established deposits, extensions to emerging high-grade discoveries such as HHH, and systematic testing of new targets across the broader Ritz Gold Project.
