TORQUE FINDS NEW HIGH-GRADE GOLD ZONES

Extensional drilling intersects mineralisation beyond the current Observation and HHH resource boundaries

Torque Metals Limited (ASX:TOR) has reported new high-grade gold intersections from the Observation and HHH deposits at its 100%-owned Paris Gold Project in Western Australia.

The first extensional diamond holes at both deposits returned mineralisation outside their current Mineral Resource estimates. At Observation, the new result sits about 60 metres down-dip and down-plunge from the existing resource boundary. At HHH, the diamond intersection is about 70 metres down-plunge from the current resource.

  • 26ODD004 at Observation: 2.7m at 5.20g/t gold from 201.2m, including 0.4m at 29.97g/t gold
  • 26HDD005 at HHH: 1.0m at 20.90g/t gold from 253.13m, including 0.6m at 33.76g/t gold
  • 26HRC130 at HHH: 2.0m at 2.39g/t gold from 220m

Torque said down-hole electromagnetic surveying identified a conductor below the HHH intersection, which will be tested with follow-up drilling. Drilling is also continuing at Observation and at the Paris deposit, while regional targets are planned to be tested before the end of 2026 following heritage work.

Torque Metals Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Craig Jones

These exciting discoveries of new high-grade zones represent an outstanding start to the next phase of resource growth at the Paris Gold Project, with the first extensional diamond holes at both Observation and HHH intersecting significant mineralisation outside their current Mineral Resource boundaries.

Importantly, these are not isolated results. At Observation, the first diamond hole drilled beneath the current MRE has intersected what appears to be a new mineralised lode, with similar geological characteristics to those seen at the larger Paris Deposit along strike. At HHH, drilling has extended the known mineralisation down-plunge while DHEM carried out using this recent hole, has identified a large new conductor immediately below the high-grade intercept, providing a compelling target for follow-up drilling.

These results reinforce our view that considerable value remains to be unlocked across the broader Paris Gold Camp – potential which the new leadership team identified when we first undertook our due diligence on Torque and the Paris Gold Project before joining the Company earlier this year.

While we continue to lay the foundations for the next phase of resource growth through ongoing systematic drilling, our RPM strategy is also identifying new opportunities capable of delivering the next generation of discoveries across the South Kalgoorlie Gold Camp.

The exploration team and I are looking forward to be able to drill some of the other prospects later this year once heritage surveys are completed such as Maynards Dam, Strauss West and Marmaracs, Lady Doris and St Ives East.
