THICK HIGH-GRADE GOLD AND COPPER INTERSECTIONS AT BLUEBIRD DISCOVERY

New drilling highlights resource expansion potential at Bluebird, Tennant Creek

Tennant Minerals (ASX:TMS) has reported further thick, high-grade copper and gold intersections at its Bluebird discovery, located within the 100%-owned Barkly Project in the Northern Territory. The latest results reveal promising new zones to the west and down-plunge of previous drilling, with the potential to extend mineralisation.

Key highlights include:

  • 5m at 8.3 g/t Au, 2.0% Cu, 9.8 g/t Ag, and 0.27% Bi from 233m, including 22.7 g/t Au, 1.6% Cu, 41.4 g/t Ag, and 0.51% Bi.
  • 18m at 1.3% CuEq*, including 8m at 2.7% CuEq* from 260m.
  • 28m at 2.1% CuEq*, including 16m at 3.2% CuEq* from 158m.

The results suggest the possibility of a larger mineralised system, particularly with the identification of a well-mineralised copper-gold zone at Bluebird East, which remains open to the east and west, as well as at depth.

Tennant Minerals CEO Vincent Algar commented:

The latest assay results we have received from Bluebird have not only confirmed the high gold and copper grades from previous drilling programs but have also extended the mineralised zones to the east and down-plunge to the west of previous drilling. One of the most exciting outcomes of the program has been the identification that Bluebird is made up of up to four large, high-grade copper/gold mineralised lenses within the east-west trending ironstone-host at Bluebird – which remain completely open to the east and west. The latest results reinforce our confidence in defining economic copper-gold resources within the Barkly project, in line with our goal to become a major player in the rejuvenated Tennant Creek Mineral Field.
