Continued Discovery at Yaouré and Sissingué Enhances Prospects

Perseus Mining Limited (ASX:PRU) has been actively pursuing exploration around its Yaouré and Sissingué gold mines in Côte d’Ivoire, yielding optimistic results. Here’s a snapshot of the highlights:

Yaouré Gold Mine:

  • Drilling underscores the down dip potential of the CMA underground Mineral Resource.

    • 12m @ 4.58 g/t gold
    • 14.25m @ 3.95 g/t gold
    • 12.1m @ 24.50 g/t gold, including a remarkable 1m @ 255.1 g/t gold.

Sissingué Gold Mine and Fimbiasso Satellite Pits:

  • Exploration uncovers extensions to existing mineral deposits.
  • Results from Fimbiasso include intersections like 6m @ 3.78 g/t gold and 11m @ 5.47 g/t gold.

Perseus’s CEO, Jeff Quartermaine, remarks on the exploration’s success, emphasizing the company’s strategy for organic growth through exploration as a cost-effective approach to expand the business. He notes, “

The encouraging drilling results…provide clear evidence that we are well on track to not only improve the quality of our existing asset base by extending the lives of each of these mines, but also maintaining Perseus’s targeted levels of combined gold production of more than 500,000 ounces of gold per year to the end of the current decade and beyond.”
