SANDSTONE NORTH REVEALS MAJOR 6KM GOLD TARGET

Alto Marks Significant Gold Target with High-Grade Drill Results

Alto Metals (ASX:AME) has defined a major new gold target extending over six kilometres at Sandstone North, highlighting the untapped potential of the region. This discovery follows a detailed evaluation of fine fraction soil results, structural interpretation, and a review of historical high-grade drill outcomes.

Key Highlights from the Exploration:

  • The gold anomaly spans a significant length and coincides with a major interpreted shear zone.
  • Pathfinder elements such as Arsenic, Copper, and Lead were found alongside gold, adhering to the expected geological models.
  • Previous limited drilling yielded multiple high-grade intercepts, including:
    • 15m @ 9.1 g/t gold from 82m, including 3m @ 32.1 g/t gold (MSGC979)
    • 13m @ 5.2 g/t gold from 34m, including 1m @ 58.0 g/t gold (MSGC1005)
  • The mineralisation remains open along strike and down plunge, with most of the 6km target yet unexplored.
  • The region’s mineralisation style mirrors the high-grade Waroonga deposit at Agnew, with gold hosted within sulphidic quartz veins near ultramafic contacts.
