RIVERSGOLD REPORTS HIGH-GRADE GOLD INTERCEPTS AT NORTHERN ZONE

Assay Results Highlight Promising Expansion Near Kalgoorlie

Riversgold Ltd (ASX:RGL) has announced assay results from the first ten holes of its aircore drilling campaign at the Northern Zone, located 25km east of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. The results reveal multiple high-grade gold intercepts that confirm and expand the shallow gold mineralisation associated with the 600m-wide porphyry system.

Key results include:

7m at 4.07 g/t gold from 48m, including 4m at 6.72 g/t gold from 48m (NZAC107).
8m at 2.07 g/t gold from 48m, including 4m at 3.46 g/t gold from 51m (NZAC108).
4m at 7.47 g/t gold from 49m, including 2m at 12.36 g/t gold from 51m (NZAC113).
7m at 1.16 g/t gold from 41m to end of hole (EOH), including 1m at 4.13 g/t gold (NZAC095).
1m at 2.58 g/t gold from 64m (NZAC094).

Additionally, the company has identified a new high-grade zone on the eastern extensional area of the porphyry system. These results surpass initial expectations and support the ongoing development of the Northern Zone Gold Project, which has an Exploration Target of 200–250Mt at grades of 0.4–0.6 g/t gold for 2.5–4.8Moz of gold.

The remaining assay results for the campaign are expected within the next week, with the mineralisation report required for a Mining Lease application due by the end of the month.

These are some of the best gold results seen for the shallow parts of the Northern Zone Gold Project to date. They demonstrate excellent grade at relatively shallow depths over good widths and expand the mineralisation to the far eastern side of the 600m wide porphyry. As indicated before, the Project continues to deliver highly material and significant mineralised intercepts over an increasing porphyry footprint. The recent set of significant high-grade gold assays at Northern Zone have continued to expand the gold mineralised footprint of the porphyry over a much larger area than originally thought and it has confirmed the presence of a significant gold mineralised system, that is located just 25km east of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia with all of the benefits of being brilliantly located to excellent roads and infrastructure.
