First three Golden Gate South holes return broad gold mineralisation as 28 additional holes await assays
Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX:RML) has reported broad gold mineralisation in the first three diamond holes assayed from Golden Gate South at its Horse Heaven Project in Idaho, United States.
The holes were drilled as a fan from one platform at the southern end of Golden Gate South. Resolution said the results extend known gold mineralisation by at least two kilometres south of Golden Gate North.
The principal down-hole intersections were:
- 305.7 metres at 0.64 grams per tonne gold from surface in HH-GG26-003C, including 6.5 metres at 1.33g/t gold from 62 metres and 17.25 metres at 1.19g/t gold from 264.85 metres
- 87.87 metres at 0.52g/t gold from 48.97 metres in HH-GG26-002C, including 37.42 metres at 0.72g/t gold from 67.24 metres
- 49.5 metres at 0.58g/t gold from surface in HH-GG26-001C, including 24.64 metres at 0.78g/t gold from 17.86 metres
Resolution stated that all reported intervals are down-hole lengths and do not necessarily represent true widths.

The company has completed 33 diamond holes for about 9,700 metres at Golden Gate, with another 28 holes logged and submitted to the laboratory. Its 2026 program comprises up to 13,700 metres across as many as 45 holes and has been extended to mid-September.
Golden Gate sits within the wider Horse Heaven antimony-tungsten-gold-silver project. Resolution said drilling is intended to test the scale and extent of both gold and tungsten mineralisation across Golden Gate South and Golden Gate North.
Resolution Minerals CEO of US Operations Craig Lindsay:
Our exploration team is extremely encouraged by these three discovery holes at Golden Gate South, which provide additional support to our view that mineralisation extends continuously from Golden Gate South to Golden Gate North, potentially representing a very significant gold discovery along the Golden Gate Fault Zone. With 28 additional holes in process at the lab, RML expects to see an increased pace of drill results released to the market.
