RED BIRD DELIVERS THICK, HIGH-GRADE GOLD NEAR SURFACE

Maiden drilling continues to define լայն, shallow gold system with open-pit potential in Arizona

SQX Resources Limited (ASX:SQX) has reported further strong assay results from its maiden drilling program at the Red Bird Gold Project in Arizona, highlighting multiple լայն, high-grade gold intercepts close to surface.

The latest batch of reverse circulation (RC) results covers an additional six holes, bringing total reported assays to 14 out of a 25-hole program. The results continue to support the emergence of a լայն, shallow gold system with potential for low-cost open-pit development.

Drilling has confirmed consistent mineralisation from surface down to at least 60 metres depth across multiple sections, reinforcing the scale and continuity of the system.

24.4m @ 3.1g/t Au from 22.9m (RBRC023)
- including 9.1m @ 6.6g/t Au
25.9m @ 2.4g/t Au from 22.9m (RBRC026)
- including 6.1m @ 5.2g/t Au
22.9m @ 1.7g/t Au from 22.9m (RBRC025)
13.7m @ 2.9g/t Au from 1.5m (RBRC027)
- including 4.6m @ 7.8g/t Au

Gold mineralisation has been intersected at or near surface in multiple holes, supporting a potential खुल, shallow олборణ scenario. With only 14 holes reported so far, assays from the remaining 11 holes are expected to further expand the known mineralised footprint.

The 2,509-metre drilling program represents the first modern, systematic test of mineralisation at the historic Red Bird mine, targeting both known zones and extensions along strike and at depth. An induced polarisation (IP) geophysical survey is also set to commence mid-April to refine deeper targets.

These results continue to exceed our expectations. What we’re seeing at Red Bird is a wide, high-grade gold system that starts right at surface and extends to depth. Intercepts of 24.4m at 3.1g/t Au and 13.7m at 2.9g/t Au from just 1.5m depth are exactly the kind of results we want to see.

Importantly, we still have results pending for 11 of our 25 holes. Our IP team mobilises next week to help us understand the potential at depth and along strike. We believe we are still in the early stages of defining what Red Bird could ultimately become.
