NEW GOLD TREND DISCOVERED AT YOUANMI

Rox Resources’ regional drilling unveils promising mineralization at Currans Find Project Area

Rox Resources Limited (ASX:RXL) has announced significant findings from its first regional reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Youanmi greenstone belt. A new near-surface mineralized quartz shear was discovered in the central Currans Find Project Area, indicating the potential for high-grade gold lodes.

Drilling Highlights:

  • Promising Results: Notable intercepts include 6m @ 5.22g/t Au from 29m in RXRC525 and 12m @ 4.44g/t Au from 18m in RXRC519, including 7m @ 6.82g/t Au from 19m.
  • Near-Surface Mineralization: The majority of the results are close to the surface, reinforcing the interpretation of multiple lodes in the high-grade Currans Find Project Area.
  • Potential for New Discoveries: Initial regional results support Rox’s optimism in identifying new high-grade gold lodes within the Company’s dominant tenure position.
  • Further Assays Pending: Additional results from recent RC drilling targeting near-mine IP survey targets are awaited.

Managing Director of Rox Resources, Mr. Robert Ryan, expressed enthusiasm about the initial results:

The consolidation of 100% ownership of the broader tenure by Rox has been the catalyst for the first targeted exploration campaign outside of the 3.2Moz Youanmi gold camp – and the initial results are very encouraging.

The drilling results from Currans Find, situated just 5km north of the high-grade Penny West gold mine, reveal the prospectivity of this extremely under-explored area.

High-grade intercepts, coupled with the discovery of a new mineralised trend, bode well for future drilling programs and we are very excited about the emerging opportunity in this area – particularly in light of its proximity to one of the highest grade gold mines in Western Australia at Penny West.

These results are just our first foray into our belt-wide exploration initiatives and results will feed into a broader regional target generation program that draws on a combination of geophysical and geochemical datasets, with a focus on structural splays off the regional Youanmi shear zone.

Meanwhile, drilling has also been completed at the near-Youanmi mine IP targets with results eagerly anticipated in the next few weeks
