NEW GOLD MINERALISATION STYLE AT DUPLEX

Gateway Unveils High-Grade Intercepts South of Montague

Gateway Mining Ltd (ASX:GML) has announced a significant discovery at the Duplex target within the Montague Gold Project in Western Australia. The initial Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling has unearthed a new zone of bedrock gold mineralisation, presenting assay highlights such as 18 meters at 5.0 grams per tonne gold from a depth of 103 meters.

This new mineralisation style, hosted within a gabbro/dolerite intrusion, differs from any previously found at Montague. Spanning over 250 meters in strike length from three RC holes, and based on air-core drilling anomalism, the potential strike extends over 500 meters. Follow-up RC drilling is scheduled for the current quarter.

Gateway’s Managing Director, Mr. Mark Cossom, shared his enthusiasm: “This is a fantastic way to start the New Year, with RC drilling completed late last year as a first test of the new Duplex Target returning some standout assay results, including an exceptional shallow intercept of 18m at 5.0g/t. This suggests that Duplex has the potential for size and scale, elevating it as a priority target for follow-up RC drilling this quarter. This is consistent with our focus on unearthing step-change growth opportunities at Montague with the potential to change the value proposition for our shareholders.”
