NEW GOLD INTERCEPTS AT CENTRAL TANAMI PROJECT

Encouraging Results From Drilling Enhance Gold Deposit Profiles

Tanami Gold NL (ASX:TAM) has announced the reception of the final assays for its comprehensive 2023 drilling campaigns at the Central Tanami Project (CTP). The assays encompass results from multiple gold deposits and target areas within the project.

Drilling Campaign Highlights:

  • The CTP’s Jims Gold Deposit drilling campaign, comprising three holes, yielded significant gold intercepts, enhancing the understanding of the deposit’s potential:
    • A notable 14.00m @ 2.74g/t gold from 251.00m in JPRCD0001.
    • High-grade sections including 2.00m @ 16.39g/t gold from 83.00m in JPRCD0003.
  • The Beaver Gold Deposit, explored through a two-hole campaign, has returned promising results, confirming mineralization depth extensions:
    • An intercept of 3.18m @ 4.78g/t gold from 331.02m in BVDD0001, affirming the deposit’s potential below the historical open pit.
  • The maiden drilling efforts in the Groundrush-Ripcord Link target area have revealed gold presence with an intercept of 1.38m @ 3.55g/t gold from 557.20m in GRRCL002, hinting at a connection with the larger Groundrush Gold Deposit.

Ongoing Exploration and Future Work:

  • Results from the extensive 123 hole Air Core campaign targeting areas near the Ripcord Gold Deposit and other strategic locations remain pending and are highly anticipated.
  • Planning for the 2024 field season is actively underway, with proposed Reverse Circulation and Diamond Core drilling expected to commence post-northern wet season, around April/May 2024.

Corporate Perspective:

Tanami Gold’s exploration activities have demonstrated the CTP’s gold endowment, supporting the company’s exploration strategy and planning for the next phase of fieldwork. As the company prepares for the 2024 field season, these latest results provide a solid foundation for continued exploration and development at the CTP, with a view to extending known mineralization and discovering new gold zones within the project area.
