MULGABBIE NORTH ASSAYS REINFORCE HIGH-GRADE GOLD CONSISTENCY

Final grade control drilling results support mine planning and ongoing feasibility work at the Mulgabbie North Paleochannel Project

OzAurum Resources Ltd (ASX:OZM) has completed assaying of the final batch of reverse circulation (RC) grade control drilling from its feasibility-stage Mulgabbie North Paleochannel Project in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields, confirming the continuity of high-grade gold mineralisation across the deposit.

The latest results mark the completion of the company’s 15,646-metre feasibility and grade control drilling program, with all five batches of assays now reported. According to OzAurum, the dataset will be incorporated into mine planning, pit design and the ongoing feasibility study supporting its proposed heap leach development pathway.

Key outcomes from the final batch include:

  • 7m at 8.12g/t Au from 25m, including 1m at 49.70g/t Au (MNORC 763)
  • 2m at 7.17g/t Au from 25m, including 1m at 13.94g/t Au (MNORC 774)
  • 5m at 4.14g/t Au from 22m, including 1m at 12.92g/t Au (MNORC 753)
  • 3m at 2.87g/t Au from 23m, including 1m at 7.33g/t Au (MNORC 747)
  • 13m at 1.34g/t Au from 23m, including 1m at 7.25g/t Au (MNORC 742)

All reported intercepts occur at shallow depths of approximately 22-25 metres below surface.

The completed program comprised 71 new RC holes for 2,556 metres, delivering the drilling density required for mine scheduling and economic modelling. OzAurum said the results continue to demonstrate a consistent, high-grade paleochannel system that could support a low-cost open pit mining model.

The company also noted that mineralisation remains open along a greater than 4-kilometre interpreted paleochannel trend, highlighting potential for future resource growth beyond the current mineral resource estimate of approximately 260,000 ounces of gold.

Alongside the drilling program, site civil works have commenced for the proposed heap leach pad and agglomeration plant foundations, representing a further step toward project development.

CEO and Managing Director, Andrew Pumphrey, commented:

Completing this grade control program is a genuine milestone for OzAurum. Every batch of results throughout this campaign has returned the same message: consistent, high-grade gold at shallow depth, right across the paleochannel. That kind of geological repeatability is exactly what you need to build a mine plan.

We now have a complete, high-density assay dataset from a system we understand well – a coherent paleochannel with a defined flow direction, and grades that have held up drill hole after drill hole. That dataset feeds directly into our feasibility study and mine planning. At the same time, we are on the ground advancing civil works for the heap leach pad and agglomeration plant. Along with this drilling we have also completed the stage 1 open pit grade control drilling. Alongside this drilling, the development work has begun.
