MARVEL LOCH GOLD DRILLING UNDERWAY

Kula Gold Commences Exciting Phase at Boomerang Gold Prospect

Kula Gold Ltd (ASX: KGD) announced the start of Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling at the Boomerang Gold Prospect located within the Marvel Loch Project area, approximately 100% north of Southern Cross, WA. The project is strategically positioned near the historical Nevoria Gold Mine and the Marvel Loch Gold Mine, significant producers of over 600,000 and 150,000 ounces of gold, respectively.

Key Highlights from Kula Gold’s Announcement:

  • The commencement of RC drilling targets a newly defined gold anomaly situated in a magnetic low zone, considered highly promising for gold exploration.
  • Drilling occurs along a NW 310-330° orientation, matching the trend seen in most Southern Cross Goldfields deposits.
  • Exciting results from an adjacent historical Kula Gold RC hole include a notable intercept of 1m at 2.6g/t gold at 54m depth.
  • The proximity, just 5km from the Marvel Loch processing facilities, underscores Kula Gold’s strategic approach to exploration, aiming for quick advancement towards production.
  • Exploration will also extend to testing for Rare Earth Elements (REE) based on previously positive outcomes in the area.

Kula’s Managing Director Ric Dawson stated:

This reconnaissance RC drilling is a limited metreage programme to test the gold UFF geochemically anomalous following up on a 2m at 2.56g/t intercept from previous drilling in the Boomerang Kaolin Deposit, as well as possible rare earths potential.
