MAIDEN RESOURCE DRILLING UNDERWAY AT GOLDEN CROWN

Mt Malcolm Mines Commences Intensive RC Drilling Program to Define Leonora Gold Prospect

Mount Malcolm Mines NL (ASX:M2M) has initiated an RC drilling program at the Golden Crown tenement (M37/475) in Leonora, with the aim of establishing a maiden Mineral Resource. The planned drilling consists of 65 holes spanning 2,475 meters, arranged in a dense 8m x 12m grid. An exploration target has been estimated to contain between 150,000 and 120,000 tonnes with a gold grade range of 10-15g/t Au.

Golden Crown is noted for historical high-grade gold production and has seen limited exploration from previous entities. Mt Malcolm Mines has conducted further RC drilling, building upon earlier programs by other companies, yielding significant gold intercepts such as 4m @ 10.4 g/t Au and 3m @ 11.97 g/t Au including 1m @ 33.61 g/t Au. However, it’s important to note that the potential quantity and grade of the Exploration Target is conceptual, and further exploration is required to establish a mineral resource, with the Exploration Target prepared in compliance with the JORC Code (2012).
