MAGGIE HAYS HILL UNCOVERS RICH GOLD VEINS

Promising Gold Assays Indicate Extensive Mineralisation

Intra Energy Corporation Limited (ASX:IEC) has announced the discovery of multiple high-grade gold assays from rock samples at the Maggie Hays Hill Project. The findings come from a current mapping and rock sampling program, highlighting significant gold mineralization.

Project Highlights:

  • The assays reported notably high gold grades with samples yielding:
    • 15.6 g/t gold (MRK006)
    • 17.8 g/t gold (MRK009)
    • 5.4 g/t gold (MRK013)
    • 4.1 g/t gold (MRK016)
    • 4.0 g/t gold (MRK010)
  • Two distinct gold lode systems, East and West, have been identified within the project.
  • These lode systems remain open along strike and at depth, offering potential for further exploration and expansion.

Geological Insights:

The company’s exploration activities, which focused on historically known trends, have led to the identification of high-grade gold in quartz veins within basalts in the southern part of the tenement. These efforts have defined two separate gold lodes extending over 130 meters each and are open for approximately 300 meters in both directions, revealing significant potential for extension.

Historical exploration results, including a five-hole RC drilling program on the western side of Maggie Hay Hill, reported promising gold intercepts. These historical results, along with the newly identified gold mineralization at the East Lode, suggest widespread gold presence in the area.

Upcoming Exploration Plans:

IEC is planning to conduct infill soil sampling and field mapping to further delineate the scale of the mineralization. This will also include evaluating historically identified anomalies that have not yet been explored, building on the high-grade results and broader gold anomalism discovered in the 2021 soil sampling program.

Management Commentary:

IEC’s Managing Director, Ben Dunn, commented on the project’s potential

The identification of gold mineralisation at surface in outcropping quartz veins at the Maggie Hays Hill Project adds to the existing compelling lithium exploration plan to generate shareholder value. IEC intends to follow up both targets with vigour.
