LYDIA GOLD PROSPECT RETURNS HIGH-GRADE RESULTS NEAR CROWN PRINCE

Potential for Fast-Track Development as Drilling Extends Mineralised Zone

New Murchison Gold Limited (ASX:NMG) has reported strong gold assay results from its recent drilling at the Lydia prospect, located just 800 metres west of the company’s flagship Crown Prince Gold Mine in Western Australia.

The results come from a 33-hole reverse circulation (RC) drill program totalling 2,920 metres, targeting extensions of the Lydia shear zone. The campaign has successfully expanded the known mineralised structure and defined high-grade intercepts. Three diamond holes have also been completed to assess structural settings, and five geotechnical holes were drilled for potential pit design planning.

Highlight intersections from the program include:

3m at 32.9g/t Au from 46m, including 1m at 62.4g/t Au from 47m (NGGRC1094)
9.10m at 10.3g/t Au from 89m, including 1m at 24.6g/t Au from 94m (NGGDD1144)
8m at 9.1g/t Au from 20m, including 4m at 16.7g/t Au from 24m (NGGRC1309)
4.15m at 11.7g/t Au from 71.95m, including 0.90m at 30.8g/t Au from 73.10m (NGGDD1144)
1m at 8.4g/t Au from 135m within a broader 21m at 3.4g/t Au from 117m (NGGRC1109)

According to the company, mineralisation at Lydia appears similar in style and width (20–25 metres thick) to that seen at Crown Prince. The Lydia shear zone is interpreted to be a local dilational jog between mafic/doleritic units, dipping steeply to the west.

We believe we can leverage off existing infrastructure (offices, maintenance facility, crusher, and sampling preparation facility) to bring Lydia online relatively quickly. NMG is working towards including Lydia into its resources and reserves inventory.
