Goldman Three doré bars shipped to Perth Mint as toll milling campaign advances at Kalgoorlie project
Lefroy Exploration Limited (ASX:LEX) has reported first gold production from its Lucky Strike Gold Mine near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, marking a key milestone for the company as its maiden toll milling campaign moves ahead.
The company confirmed that the first three gold doré bars have been shipped to the Perth Mint Refinery for final refining, with the toll milling campaign at the FMR Greenfields plant in Coolgardie described as well underway.
Additional ore stocks are currently positioned at both the Lucky Strike site and on the mill ROM pads, supporting ongoing processing. The initial toll milling campaign is scheduled to be completed towards the end of February, while Lefroy said it is negotiating further toll milling capacity for the Lucky Strike Gold Project, with additional updates expected.
The Lucky Strike Gold Deposit hosts a Mineral Resource Estimate of 1.27 million tonnes at 1.95g/t Au for 79,600 ounces. This comprises:
- 0.70Mt at 1.93g/t Au for 43,400 ounces (Indicated)
- 0.57Mt at 1.97g/t Au for 36,200 ounces (Inferred)
