KOONENBERRY HITS 170M @ 1.75G/T GOLD AT ENMORE PROJECT

Strong gold grades confirmed in first drillhole at Sunnyside Prospect, NSW

Koonenberry Gold Limited (ASX:KNB) has reported assay results from its first diamond drillhole at the Enmore Gold Project’s Sunnyside Prospect in northeast New South Wales, confirming broad mineralised zones with high-grade intercepts.

Headline results from hole 25ENDD001 include:

  • 170m @ 1.75g/t Au from 77m, including:
    • 18.3m @ 9.95g/t Au from 172.9m, with
    • 0.3m @ 144.5g/t Au from 173.8m

The high-grade intercept correlates with visible gold zones identified in earlier fieldwork and is associated with multiphase veining, sulphides, and breccia textures.

The company says assays validate historic drilling and support the potential for the system to host broad zones of mineralisation and high-grade intervals. Gold mineralisation remains open both up-dip and along strike.

Holes 2, 3 and 4—also intersecting visible gold—are now in the lab, with results expected across April. Drilling of hole 25ENDD005 is underway, with 1,630.3m completed and approximately 1,400m remaining.

KNB Managing Director Dan Power said:

This is a truly exciting result from our first ever drill hole into the Enmore Project. This hole was planned to target high-grade vein sets at a high angle to the main shear zone and we have certainly demonstrated the potential for this system to carry exceptionally high gold grades as well as verifying the broad zones of gold mineralisation intersected in historical drilling.

Samples from holes 25ENDD002, 003 and 004, which all intersected visible gold, are now at the lab and will be reported through April. Drilling at Sunnyside is ongoing and continues to target extensions to the system, which we have demonstrated to have a 240m vertical depth extent on three sections, A-A’, B-B’ and C-C’.
