Horizon Minerals has reported that the Company is ahead 22% of schedule with the mining and haulage of ore from its Boorara Gold mine in WA.

Jon Price the Managing Director of Horizons said that the total movement of 232,000BCM had been mined with 42,000 tonnes of oxide and transitional ore at a diluted grade of 1.4g/t Au which is inline with the reserve model estimates. He went on to say that due to the higher than budgeted free digging, that the cost of the drill and blast had been substantially reduced.

Gold production and revenue from the operations is expected to be in July 2020 continuing to January 2021.

The processing of the ore will be to treat 25,000 tonnes from the Regal pit, over a two week period to enable a detailed mine to mill grade reconciliation.
