HIGH-GRADE METALS UNCOVERED AT STONEY

Comprehensive Mineralisation Across Gold, Silver, Copper, and Antimony

Nova Minerals Ltd (ASX:NVA) has announced the discovery of high-grade gold, silver, copper, and antimony within the Stoney area, which includes the Stoney, T5, and West Wing Prospects. The findings stem from the 2023 surface sampling campaign and a detailed re-analysis of historical sample data, revealing significant anomalies and high-grade occurrences across these key metals.

The analysis and collection of 27 rock and 59 soil samples have identified considerable levels of gold, silver, copper, and antimony, with some of the most notable results from surface sampling as follows:

  • T5 Prospect recorded a gold equivalent (AuEq) value of 75.8 g/t, highlighted by 74.5 g/t gold, 1.2% copper, and 0.3% antimony.
  • At Stoney Prospect, samples included a 49.2 g/t AuEq with 48.4 g/t gold and 3.6% copper, and another significant 37.3 g/t AuEq comprising 5.1 g/t gold, 2,390 g/t silver, 8.5% copper, and 1.3% antimony.
  • West Wing Prospect showcased a high of 25.9 g/t AuEq, with gold content nearly matching at 25.8 g/t and accompanied by 0.6% copper.

These findings underscore the polymetallic nature of the deposits and reflect the diverse mineral potential of the area, with numerous samples surpassing expected values for silver, copper, and antimony.

Reflecting on the exploration results, Nova’s Head of Exploration, Mr. Hans Hoffman, stated: “The greater Stoney area, which now includes West Wing and T5, has a strong polymetallic signature with elevated levels of silver, copper, and antimony – in addition to gold. Our field crews are eager to get back here in 2024 to follow up on these anomalies and to collect chip samples across the main Stoney Vein.”

Nova Minerals Ltd’s exploration activities at the Stoney area have highlighted the presence of a wide spectrum of metal deposits, paving the way for further investigations and exploration efforts in the coming year.
