HIGH-GRADE GOLD STRIKES CONFIRMED AT MT CATTLIN

Historic drilling validates bonanza grades and system-scale potential in WA

Avira Resources Ltd (ASX:AVW) has confirmed significant high-grade gold mineralisation at its Mt Cattlin Gold Project in Western Australia, following a comprehensive compilation and validation of historical drilling data.

The review underpins both the grade and scale of the system, providing a solid platform for the company’s maiden Mineral Resource Estimate, targeted for late 2026.

Results highlight exceptional historical intercepts at the Sirdar prospect, including:

  • 1.00m @ 131.24 g/t Au
  • 6.00m @ 50.07 g/t Au
  • 9.00m @ 23.42 g/t Au

Mineralisation has now been confirmed across four key prospects — Maori Queen, Sirdar, Plantagenet and Ellendale — forming part of the broader “New Zealand Trend”, which extends over 650 metres of strike and remains open along strike and at depth.

Avira has outlined upcoming RC drilling programs targeting Maori Queen and Sirdar, with additional testing planned at Plantagenet and Ellendale. Drilling is expected to commence in early Q2 2026, subject to approvals.

The company is also advancing a clear pathway toward a maiden resource, with drilling designed to test shallow extensions and support resource definition, currently targeted for Q4 2026.

Executive Director James Robinson

This validation process has done exactly what it was designed to do — give us a clear, reliable picture of what Mt Cattlin holds. The high grades at Sirdar and Maori Queen, and the scale across the New Zealand Trend are genuinely compelling. We have a well-defined drill program, the permits process is underway, and Q4 2026 is a realistic target for our maiden Resource. Mt Cattlin is earning its place as a serious gold project.
