HIGH-GRADE GOLD STRIKES AT CORK TREE WELL

Brightstar Resources Reports Up To 16.83g/t Gold From Latest Drilling Efforts

Brightstar Resources Limited (ASX:BTR) revealed significant gold intercepts from its first two geotechnical diamond drill holes at Cork Tree Well within the Laverton Gold Project. The highest assay recorded was 16.83g/t Au.

Key highlights from the drilling include impressive gold assays of up to 16.83g/t Au, bolstering confidence in the potential extension of mineralisation beneath the current pit design. Notably, drill hole CTWGT008 yielded 8.4 meters at 3.97g/t Au from a depth of 141.65 meters, including a peak value of 0.35 meters at 16.83 g/t Au and 1.0 meter at 8.67 g/t Au. Another drill hole, CTWGT007, situated below the historical open pit, returned 8.2 meters at 1.67g/t Au from 103 meters.

Both drill holes, CTWGT007 and CTWGT008, targeted the orebody below the northern portion of the historically mined southern pit at Cork Tree Well, encountering gold mineralisation within a quartz breccia sedimentary unit.

Brightstar’s Managing Director, Alex Rovira, commented on the findings:

It is pleasing to see further high-grade assays continuing from non-priority geotechnical holes from the diamond drilling program that was completed at Cork Tree Well. CTWGT008 returned an intersection of 8.4m @ 3.97g/t Au from 141.65m, which complements the previously announced intersection of 11.4m @ 3.1g/t Au (CTWMET001) drilled 200m to the north.

The drilling forms part of a broader 20-hole program aimed at supporting metallurgical and geotechnical studies integral to the project’s pre-feasibility study (PFS) workstreams. The campaign represents the first instance of diamond drilling conducted at Cork Tree Well by Brightstar, with further analysis and testing underway following recent geotechnical logging and sampling efforts.
