Initial 2025 assays from Vail Road confirm high-grade continuity and support resource upgrade plans
Albright Metals Limited (ASX:ALB) has released the first assay results from its 2025 diamond drilling campaign at the Vail Road Gold Deposit, part of the Golden Pike Project. The assays confirm multiple high-grade gold intercepts and provide strong support for ongoing resource development efforts.
The standout intersections from the initial four holes include:
- VR-25-76 – 6.27m at 33.74 g/t Au from 54.43m
including 2.57m at 70.66 g/t Au from 57.26m - VR-25-70 – 0.5m at 25.9 g/t Au from 100.20m
- VR-25-71 – 1.0m at 17.42 g/t Au from 61.20m
including 0.5m at 33.6 g/t Au from 61.70m - VR-25-72 – 0.6m at 11.30 g/t Au from 66.3m
These results are from infill drilling in the Parallel Zone, aiming to confirm the continuity of high-grade veining identified in historical drilling. Albright reports that the results are consistent with the existing dataset, reinforcing confidence in the geological model.
The company drilled a total of 1,020.5 metres across 15 HQ diamond core holes between November and December 2025, with this release covering the first four holes.
CEO, Greg Hill said:
We are delighted to have received the first batch of assays, with results confirming the exceptional high-grade nature of the Vail Road Gold Deposit. These results support Albright Metals’ plans for rapid progression to a JORC-compliant Mineral Resource Estimate and mine development studies.
Further assay results are pending and expected in the coming weeks.
