Resampling confirms grades up to 20g/t Au and reinforces a +600m gold trend in South Australia
Auravelle Metals Ltd (ASX:AUV) has reported high-grade gold results from resampling of reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Sheoak Prospect within its Nuckulla Hill Gold Project in South Australia, confirming strong grades and expanding confidence in a broad gold trend in the region.
The resampling program targeted four-metre composites from RC drilling completed in November 2025 and returned gold grades of up to 20g/t Au, alongside several broad mineralised intervals.
Among the strongest intercepts reported were:
- 21m @ 3.1g/t Au from 54m, including 3m @ 10.5g/t Au
- 5m @ 5.8g/t Au from 82m, including 1m @ 20.2g/t Au
- 9m @ 2.4g/t Au from 60m
- 1m @ 4.4g/t Au from 52m
The company also highlighted 1m @ 3.0g/t Au from a hole located around 200 metres south of the main mineralised zone, suggesting the Sheoak gold system may extend further than previously defined.
Auravelle said drilling to date has outlined a +600-metre long gold trend at Sheoak, which remains open to the north, south and at depth. The prospect forms part of the highly prospective Yarlbrinda Shear Zone, a major regional structure that also hosts Barton Gold Holdings’ nearby 1.6Moz Tunkillia Gold Project.
Further RC drilling at Sheoak is scheduled in the coming weeks. This will be followed by a broader aircore discovery drilling program across the Nuckulla Hill project, targeting additional prospects identified through recent soil sampling and structural interpretation.
Auravelle Managing Director Andrew Muir commented:
Sheoak continues to deliver excellent gold numbers, with the resampling program identifying very high gold grades up to 20g/t Au and broad high-grade gold intersections. Drilling to date at Sheoak has reinforced the significant potential of the system, with strong grades and widths intersected within a +600m long zone of gold anomalism.
Auravelle’s results to date support our view that the Nuckulla Hill Project has outstanding potential to host significant gold mineralisation, with Sheoak just one of a number of prospects located within the large Yarlbrinda Shear Zone – the key gold-hosting structure in the region.
