Menzies Gold Project Unveils Continuity in High-Grade Gold

Brightstar Resources Limited (ASX:BTR) has announced encouraging results from its 28-hole reverse circulation drilling program at the Aspacia Deposit of the Menzies Gold Project. Key intercepts include 1 meter at 18.88g/t Au from 56 meters. The findings underscore the high-grade narrow vein nature of Aspacia, extending over 600 meters of strike length, which is open at depth and along strike.

Over 80% of the drill holes at Aspacia intersected mineralization above the common underground resource cut-off grades in Western Australia’s Goldfields. These results bolster the potential of Aspacia and the adjacent First Hit deposits to become a second high-grade underground mining operation.

Brightstar is in the process of developing a JORC Mineral Resource Estimate for Aspacia, with an anticipated Q1 2024 release. Assays from the Link Zone suggest possibilities for open-pit mining, notably a 7-meter interval at 1.74g/t Au from 16 meters. Ore haulage from Selkirk Mine is active, with high-grade ore being processed by Genesis Minerals Ltd.

Brightstar’s Managing Director Alex Rovira provided a direct comment: “The RC drilling results returned at Aspacia continue to show strong continuity along strike and at depth, with multiple lodes of high-grade, narrow vein gold mineralisation delineated over a significant strike length of over 600m. This drilling program was designed to test along strike and down dip from known previous drilling intercepts and historical mining records, in preparation for delineation of a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate targeted for release later this quarter.”
