TG Metals sees promising shallow results and prepares for deeper drilling phase
TG Metals Limited ASX:TG6) has reported more high-grade gold assay results from shallow reverse circulation drilling at the Van Uden Gold Project in Western Australia.
The latest round of drilling targeted the northern extensions of the Van Uden deposit, with results aimed at expanding the resource and improving geological understanding.
Key intercepts from the program include:
- 15m @ 4.06 g/t Au from 17.0m, including 3m @ 14.63 g/t Au
- 5m @ 1.46 g/t Au from 40.0m, including 2m @ 2.58 g/t Au
- 7m @ 1.09 g/t Au from 15.0m, including 3m @ 1.71 g/t Au
- 13m @ 1.12 g/t Au from 22.0m
- 5m @ 0.91 g/t Au from 1.0m, including 2m @ 1.44 g/t Au
The company expects these results to contribute additional gold ounces to the existing mineral resource. A deeper drilling program is now scheduled to begin this week, with ongoing assays pending.
TG Metals CEO, Mr. David Selfe stated;
The shallow drilled parts of the Van Uden deposit are proving to be a fertile ground for easy resource growth. High grades are a bonus but the shallow primary mineralisation coupled with mineralised laterite above should assist greatly with future economic studies planned for early 2026 following a new mineral resource estimate in the new year.
The extensional drilling of the broader Van Uden resource will enter a new phase later this week with the commencement of deeper drilling on extensions of the resource. We have a lot more drilling to do and samples are in the laboratory pending analysis. We look forward to releasing results as they come hand.
The Gold City prospect maiden drilling results are also eagerly awaited.
