HIGH-GRADE GOLD AND SILVER AT MINDOOLAH

Westar Resources Reports Stellar Assay Results

Westar Resources Limited (ASX: WSR) announces significant assay results, featuring up to 40.7g/t gold and 214g/t silver from stockpile grab samples at the historic Mindoolah Mining Centre. This exceptional finding includes additional high-grade assays from the stockpiles: 13.6, 12.3, 9.4, 6.9, and 5.8g/t gold. A rock chip sample from the Mindoolah Main Reef open pit also yielded 1.7g/t gold and 16.1g/t silver.

These results are part of the larger Mindoolah Project located within the prolific Murchison Mineral Field of Western Australia. The region is notable for its numerous historic workings and open pits, which are yet to be fully explored. Westar has planned a comprehensive stockpile and open pit sampling program aimed at better understanding the controls on mineralisation within the area.

Westar’s proximity to a processing plant operated by a major gold producer, located within 100km, potentially facilitates future processing opportunities. This strategic advantage underscores the ongoing efforts to enhance the project’s development prospects.

Westar Executive Director Lindsay Franker expressed optimism about the findings and the future explorative activities:

We are very encouraged by these excellent initial results and, coupled with numerous yet to be tested historic workings and open pits, highlight the potential at the Mindoolah Mining Centre. We look forward to systematically evaluating the stockpiles and open pits, with immediate focus on determining the potential for an open pit cutback and possibly toll treating ore at nearby processing plants.
