New explorer enters ASX with sights set on Tier-1 gold ground in WA’s Murchison
Golden Dragon Mining Ltd (ASX:GDR) has officially commenced trading on the Australian Securities Exchange, with quotation of its fully paid ordinary shares starting at 11:30 AM (AEDT) on Wednesday, 29 October 2025.
The company’s flagship asset is the Cue Project in Western Australia’s Murchison region, located near the prolific Cue gold camp. Covering over 600km², the Cue Project is surrounded by significant regional production centres, including:
- Westgold’s Tuckabianna
- Westgold’s Bluebird
- Ramelius’ Dalgaranga
- Ramelius’ Mt Magnet
Golden Dragon has identified multiple gold targets across prospective shear zones within the Cue Project, with initial exploration focused on systematic drilling and early-stage target testing.
Drilling is expected to commence next month with a 2,000m program that includes infill drilling at Coodardy and first-pass drilling at Curtis Find. Reconnaissance exploration is already underway, with Chairman Rhod Grivas and Managing Director Simon Buswell recently mobilising to site.
Proceeds from the IPO will fund exploration across the Cue Project and other targets, as detailed in the company’s prospectus dated 15 September 2025.
