GOLD RUSH AT WARRIOR PROJECT

Bold Discoveries in Nevada

Sierra Nevada Gold (ASX:SNX) has struck gold with its latest drilling program at the Warrior Project in Nevada, USA. The company’s recent reverse circulation (RC) drilling efforts, encompassing 12 holes over 913 meters, have unearthed significant near-surface mineralization at the Gold Coin and Discovery Shaft areas within the historic Warrior mining center.

Highlights from the drilling include impressive assays such as 20.73 meters at 2.13g/t Au from 62.2 meters, including a higher grade segment of 10.97 meters at 3.76g/t Au from 63.4 meters. Other notable results feature segments like 4.88 meters at 5.49g/t Au from 8.5 meters and 10.97 meters at 1.80g/t Au from 40.2 meters, among others. These findings suggest that previous mining operations did not exhaust the mineralized zones, offering new potential for exploration and extraction.

A particularly exciting development is the identification of a second hydrothermal system beneath the Warrior Mine. This system, marked by highly anomalous geochemistry, suggests an extensive area for targeting high-grade epithermal veins, previously unexplored.

SNX Executive Chairman Peter Moore highlighted the significance of these findings, stating, “Our results have identified potential for a fully preserved epithermal vein system below the outcropping and previously mined high-grade veins at the Warrior Mine. Identifying this well distributed second system beneath the entire Warrior Mine is very encouraging and increases the search space for high-grade epithermal veins within the immediate Warrior Mine area.”

With plans to further explore the Warrior Project, including additional drilling and field mapping, SNX aims to build on these promising results and unlock the full potential of this historic gold-producing region.
