FNT TO TEST ITS SAKI GOLD PROSPECT IN PNG

FRONTIER HOPING TO EXPAND AREAS OF GOLD MINERALISATION

Frontier has told its shareholders of its planned geological, mapping, trench and rock sampling programs along the NW and SE extensions of the Saki prospect in order to expand on the areas of know Gold mineralisation and to define additional drill targets.

The Saki prospect consists of a 1,400m x 700m wide system of N/S trending Gold veining. The Saki epithermal prospect lies 2klms east of the Tolukuma mining lease in Papua New Guinea, owned by Tolukuma (TGM) who completed two programs of drilling at Saki between 2002-2009 with 45 holes for a total of 4,187m of drilling. The Company says, that the drilling targeted 54 trenches that were found to contain anomalous Gold, with some up to 6m wide and grades of up to 535g/t Au over a 0.5m section.

TARGET RESOURCE

The Company says, assuming that the mineralisation extends to 100m vertical depth, as supported by the drilling, then an estimation from trenching and drilling date gives an exploration target of between 100,000 to 300,000 ounces of Gold with a range of 600,000 to 1,000,000 tonnes grading between 5 to 9 grams per tonne Gold.
