FALCON EXTENDS LOTUS GOLD ZONE OVER 750 METRES

Two Lotus Zone holes return 3m at 13.6g/t and 2.6m at 17.8g/t gold

Falcon Metals Limited (ASX:FAL) has reported new gold assays from the Lotus Zone at its wholly owned Blue Moon project in Victoria, where the company says high-grade mineralisation and/or visible gold has now been encountered across 750 metres of tested strike. The zone remains open to the north.

The two standout Lotus intersections in the 14 September announcement are:

BMDD011W08: 3 metres at 13.6g/t gold from 824.9 metres, including 0.6 metres at 60.1g/t from 825.5 metres.

BMDD009W02: 2.6 metres at 17.8g/t gold from 641.6 metres, including 0.7 metres at 64.0g/t from 641.6 metres.

These are down-hole intervals, not established true widths; Falcon says true width remains poorly constrained and requires further drilling. Assays from several holes remain outstanding, and the company says its interpretation may change as those results arrive.

Falcon has three diamond rigs operating: two testing northern step-outs along Garden Gully and a third drilling at Paddy’s Gully. The current work is aimed at defining the continuity of the higher-grade zones before infill drilling.

Falcon Metals managing director Tim Markwell:

High-grade intercepts have now been returned from both the Jasmine and Lotus Zones on the northernmost section drilled to date, giving us clear momentum to continue stepping out to the north.

With three diamond rigs operating around the clock and additional drill approvals being advanced on parallel anticlines, Falcon is rapidly advancing its understanding of the scale and continuity of the emerging Blue Moon discovery.

Our approach of testing the Garden Gully line with wide-spaced step-out holes followed by targeted wedge drilling is successfully defining continuous mineralised zones over significant strike lengths.

The current focus is on identifying and delineating the most prospective high-grade zones within the broader reef system before progressing to infill drilling. Ultimately, Falcon aims to define multiple coherent mineralised zones with the scale and continuity required to support modern underground mining methods.
