Goldman 97% recovery achieved through gravity and cyanide methods on high-grade RC drill samples
Alto Metals Limited (ASX:AME) has announced exceptional gold recovery results from metallurgical testwork at its Sandstone Gold Project in Western Australia, achieving recoveries of up to 97% from gravity separation and cyanide leaching.
Key highlights include:
- A gravity gold recovery of 64.8%
- Gold recovery rates at a coarse grind size of 150 µm:
- 89.4% within 2 hours
- 94.3% within 4 hours
- 96.1% within 8 hours
- 97% within 24 hours
- These results further support and de-risk the Indomitable deposit and the broader Sandstone Gold Project.
The latest testwork reaffirms that deposits across the Sandstone Gold Project remain highly amenable to conventional cyanide extraction methods, complementing earlier successful tests at the project.
