Aircore drilling highlights large-scale potential of WA-based gold system
Everest Metals Corporation Ltd (ASX:EMC) has confirmed a continuous regional gold trend at its Revere Gold Project in Western Australia, with assay results from a recent aircore drilling campaign highlighting multiple high-grade intercepts and significant system-wide potential.
The drilling, which comprised 348 aircore holes over 6,982 metres, targeted strike extensions and bulk sampling areas across a 7-kilometre corridor. Results confirm the presence of shear zones and mineralised lithologies, mapping out a system with scope for further growth.
Standout gold intercepts from the campaign include:
- Hole L10-1: 13.8 g/t Au (27–28m)
- Hole L3-17: 11.3 g/t Au (13–14m)
- Hole AR4-25: 3.53 g/t Au (6–7m)
- Hole L9-5: 2.94 g/t Au (11–12m)
A newly identified 1.1-kilometre gold anomaly zone has also emerged from the campaign, providing a promising high-priority target for future exploration.
The program employed 10 primary drill fences, with holes drilled at 10-metre intervals to depths of 18–30 metres, and selected holes extended to 89 metres. A total of 7,070 samples, including QA/QC control samples, were analysed by ALS Laboratory using the PhotonAssay™ method.
Further aircore drilling is planned to test additional shear zones, aiming to build on current discoveries and support the company’s maiden JORC Mineral Resource Estimate.
EMC’s Executive Chairman and CEO Mark Caruso commented:
The extensive drilling program has delivered regionally significant results, confirming continuous gold mineralisation along the Revere strike. The considerable scale of these mineralised zones, combined with the newly discovered high-priority target, sets the stage for further exploration opportunities. Additionally, the valuable geological insights gained from this program are crucial for delivering our maiden JORC Mineral Resource Estimate at Revere.
