DUNDAS MINERALS STRIKES GOLD AT WINDANYA

Initial Drilling Program Yields High-Grade Results

Dundas Minerals Limited (ASX:DUN) has reported promising outcomes from its Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling program at the Windanya project, revealing significant gold intercepts. The drilling, which comprised 37 holes across 4,119 metres, focused on testing gold anomalies at the Aquarius and Scorpio prospects and the historic Capricorn gold deposit.

Key Highlights from the Drilling:

  • Aquarius: Notable intercepts include 3m @ 10.2 g/t Au from 109m and 2m @ 6.5 g/t Au from 70m.
  • Capricorn: High-grade finds such as 3m @ 9.14 g/t Au from 114m and 3m @ 5.3 g/t Au from 28m.
  • Scorpio: Impressively, 2m @ 3.2 g/t Au from 25m and 1m @ 6.5 g/t Au from 49m.

The program aimed to extend the known mineralization at these prospects and was considered a success with numerous high-grade gold mineralisation intercepts. This initial drill phase sets the stage for further exploration and potential resource development at the Windanya project.
