DUNDAS MINERALS REPORTS NEW EXPLORATION RESULTS AT WINDANYA GOLD PROJECT

High-Grade Gold Intercepts Highlight Potential in Kalgoorlie Region

Dundas Minerals Limited (ASX: DUN) has provided an update on its ongoing exploration activities at the Windanya Gold Project, located within the Bardoc Tectonic Zone, approximately 20 km north of the Paddington gold mill in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

The company has announced significant high-grade gold intercepts from reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Aquarius and Capricorn prospects within the Windanya Project. These results include:

  • Aquarius:
    • 3m @ 10.2 g/t Au from 109 metres (23WDRC012)
    • 2m @ 6.5 g/t Au from 70 metres (23WDRC011)
    • 1m @ 5.04 g/t Au from 49 metres (23WDRC006)
    • 1m @ 9.5 g/t Au from 146 metres (24WDRC015)
  • Capricorn:
    • 3m @ 9.14 g/t Au from 114 metres (23WDRC003)
    • 3m @ 5.3 g/t Au from 28 metres (23WDRC004)
    • 1m @ 6.6 g/t Au from 25 metres (23WDRC005)

These results underscore the potential of the Windanya Project, which is part of a larger exploration strategy focusing on areas adjacent to historic high-grade open-pit gold mines in the region. Dundas Minerals has noted that the project area has seen limited exploration below 50 meters depth, despite the significant gold anomalies identified in soil geochemistry.

Further RC drilling is planned for September 2024 to test additional gold targets at Windanya, aiming to build on the high-grade intercepts already encountered.
