DRILLING RAMP-UP AT BELLAGIO GOLD PROSPECT

Elevated Focus on Untapped Gold Potential

Koonenberry Gold Ltd (ASX: KNB) s advancing to a significant follow-up Air Core drilling program at the Bellagio Gold Prospect. This strategic move comes in the wake of highly encouraging initial results, which outlined broad zones of gold mineralisation under high-grade outcropping quartz veins. The first pass drilling revealed widespread gold mineralisation over a 250m x 300m zone, which remains open in all directions. A notable aspect of these findings is that the majority of anomalous gold results were located towards the bottom of the drill holes, hinting at gold leaching and supergene depletion in the highly weathered zone.

The upcoming drilling is aimed at exploring the fresh rock below the base of oxidation. In similar geological settings, this fresh rock layer is known to host higher grades, widths, and continuity of mineralisation compared to the highly weathered zone.

Managing Director, Dan Power, commented:

The Company is very excited about the discovery opportunity at Bellagio and has fast-tracked a follow-up drilling program which will commence shortly. Results from the initial drill program showed consistent evidence of supergene gold depletion in the highly weathered zone. Higher gold grades, widths and continuity may be encountered at depth.

This follow-up program will be high impact and is designed to test the fresh rock potential underneath broad zones of gold mineralisation defined by our initial drill program.
