CROWN PRINCE GOLD MINE COMMENCES PRODUCTION

First ore dispatched as New Murchison Gold ramps up Crown Prince to 40kt/month target

New Murchison Gold Limited (ASX:NMG) has begun production at the Crown Prince Gold Mine, with the first gold-bearing ore now crushed, assayed, and stockpiled. A 10,000-tonne parcel of ore is being transported to Westgold Resources Limited’s (ASX:WGX) Bluebird processing facility, located 36km south of the mine.

This production milestone follows NMG’s decision to proceed with development at Crown Prince in late June 2025, positioning the company as a new gold producer in the region.

In line with its Ore Purchase Agreement (OPA) with Big Bell Gold Operations Pty Ltd (a subsidiary of Westgold), NMG has issued its first Collection Notice for Crown Prince, triggering the official Commencement Date ahead of the anticipated 30 September 2025 target. The company aims to ramp up production to 40,000 tonnes of ore per month over September and October.

Alex Passmore, NMG’s CEO, commented:
After executing the OPA in December 2024, the Company is very pleased to bring the Crown Prince Gold Mine into production at record Australian dollar gold prices and ahead of the 30 September 2025 Anticipated Commencement Date established in the OPA. We look forward to further growth from both Crown Prince Gold Mine and the Company’s regional portfolio.
