Placement to fund maiden drilling at Two Pools and Feather Cap projects
Corazon Mining Limited (ASX:CZN) has secured $1.8 million through a strongly supported placement to sophisticated and institutional investors at $0.15 per share, aimed at accelerating its Western Australian gold exploration efforts.
The funds will be primarily directed towards the company’s WA Gold strategy, including maiden drill programs at the Feather Cap and Two Pools Gold Projects. The placement follows the recent grant of key exploration tenements at Two Pools.
Directors of Corazon have committed to subscribe for 500,000 new shares, totalling $75,000, subject to shareholder approval.
Corazon anticipates a strong news flow into CY2026, with the first drilling at Two Pools expected to begin in early 2026, pending completion of heritage surveys.
Corazon Mining Ltd Managing Director, Simon Cowley, commented:
We are extremely pleased with the strong support received from new and existing investors. This funding puts Corazon in a strong position to fast-track on-the-ground activities at our high-priority WA gold projects, particularly the Two Pools Gold Project, where preparations for our maiden drill program are well underway. We look forward to commencing drilling in early 2026 to test the significant gold potential of this area.
