COLOSSEUM GOLD EXTENDS TO THE NORTHEAST

Broad drill hits outside the existing resource envelope continue to grow underground potential at Dateline’s California gold-REE project

Dateline Resources Limited (ASX:DTR) has reported broad new gold intersections from drilling at the northeast extension of the North Pit at its Colosseum Gold-REE Project in California, with results extending mineralisation beyond the current Mineral Resource envelope.

The latest drilling targeted the North Pit northeast extension and returned thick mineralised intervals from surface, supporting the potential for a larger underground mining target beneath the planned open pit operation.

Key drill results included:

  • CM25-41: 287.3m at 1.05g/t Au from 0m, including 17.7m at 6.13g/t Au from 19.2m
  • CM26-42: 214m at 1.06g/t Au from 0m, including 87.9m at 1.59g/t Au from 12.2m

Dateline said the new drilling extends several hundred metres beyond the existing Mineral Resource envelope, highlighting further upside potential at Colosseum.

Hole CM26-42 was drilled further northeast than previous holes, extending the mineralised zone to the north and at depth. Meanwhile, hole CM25-41 was extended from 149.6m to 437m following positive 2025 drilling results, increasing the mineralised zone by a further 140m downhole.

The company also confirmed that two rigs are currently targeting rare earth mineralisation at Colosseum under an expanded 18-hole program, while a third company-owned rig is being recommissioned to allow parallel testing of gold extensions.

Dateline noted that nearly 3,000 metres of rare earth-focused diamond drilling has now been completed, with holes drilled to depths of up to 745m below surface.

Specific gravity analysis from the REE drilling has returned readings greater than 2.8g/cm³, which the company said aligns with density readings from Mountain Pass carbonatites and exceeds the 2.65g/cm³ typically observed in the breccia pipes.

Dateline Resources Managing Director, Stephen Baghdadi, commented:

Gold mineralisation at the Colosseum North Pit continues to extend to the northeast and these latest drill intersections again highlight the robust nature of the deposit.

These broad gold intersections highlight the potential for the definition of an underground deposit at Colosseum that could be exploited following the completion of open pit mining.

Based on the positive indications so far, the rare earth drilling program has now been expanded to 18 holes. The high-density rocks are an encouraging indicator that we are on the right track.
