Aurum Resources Limited (ASX: AUE) has shared encouraging results from its recent scout drilling campaign at the BD tenement, part of the Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa.

Key intercepts from the assay of 15 diamond holes spanning 2,815 meters at BD Target 2 include remarkable high-grade gold finds:

Further, over 4,000 core samples from both BD Target 1 and Target 2 are under analysis with results expected in the coming weeks. The company’s drilling endeavors continue with increased capacity, supported by the recent addition of a third diamond drill rig, boosting monthly drilling capability to approximately 4,000 meters from late April 2024.

Aurum anticipates an initial Mineral Resource Estimate for the Boundiali project by the end of this year and remains financially robust with a strong cash balance of $3.38 million, enhanced further by a recent $7 million capital raise.

Aurum’s Managing Director Dr. Caigen Wang shared his optimism, stating,

We are very excited to see these results from the second gold prospect on the BD tenement of the Boundiali gold project. We are encouraged to see these shallow, wide gold mineralised intercepts also include high-grade gold shoots such as 6m @ 9.95 g/t Au from 165m including 2m @ 28.9 g/t Au in hole DSDD0023.
