Goldman Drilling continues to deliver strong shallow gold intercepts across BDT1 and BDT3
Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) has reported further high-grade gold intercepts from drilling at its BDT1 deposit and BDT3 prospect, both part of the 1.59Moz Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire.
Key intercepts from the latest drilling include:
- 89m @ 2.42 g/t Au from 213m at BDT1, including:
- 7m @ 14.46 g/t Au
- 6m @ 9.01 g/t Au
(Hole: DSDD0150)
- 22.71m @ 4.78 g/t Au from 177.59m at BDT3, including:
- 5.41m @ 12.66 g/t Au
- 10m @ 3.60 g/t Au
(Hole: DSDD0162 – outside current MRE)
- 63m @ 0.94 g/t Au from 116m at BDT1, including:
- 6m @ 1.60 g/t Au
- 7m @ 1.91 g/t Au
(Hole: DSDD0149A)
These intercepts highlight the resource growth potential at Boundiali, where mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth. Drilling was conducted across six diamond holes totalling 1,844.18m.
Aurum is targeting 100,000m of drilling in CY2025, aiming to support two Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) updates as part of a broader push to grow the existing 1.59Moz Boundiali Mineral Resource.
In parallel, the company has begun work on its Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS), with baseline environmental studies completed and the full PFS expected by year-end 2025.

Diamond drilling at Boundiali continues to deliver thick high-grade intercepts, with DSDD0150 hitting 89m @ 2.42 g/t Au from 213m at BDT1. This is approximately 150m south of the previously reported DSDD0148 which intercepted 83m @ 4.87 g/t Au from 106m. We look to have several plunging shoots which have now been intercepted over a strike of around 280m and down to approximately 300m below surface, however, drill density drops off below this depth.
Additionally, outside the current Mineral Resource at prospect BDT3 (3km gold-in-soil anomaly), hole DSDD0162 intercepted shallow, high-grade gold: 22.71m @ 4.78 g/t Au from 177.59m (beneath previous RC drilling). This result is located 1.1km north of previously announced 12m @ 22.02 g/t Au from 145m (DSD0136), a prospect which is yet to have a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate defined.
We are steadily working towards completing 100,000m of diamond drilling at Boundiali in 2025. These and other drill results will be incorporated into two MRE updates. The first update, expected late in the first half of 2025, will include these recent high-grade intercepts and build upon the current 1.59Moz Boundiali MRE. A second update, planned for late in CY25, will incorporate results from planned drilling at the BD, BM, and BST deposits, as well as numerous untested gold-in-soil anomalies.
