Five new holes return broad gold zones beneath the London-Victoria pit ahead of a planned resource update.
Adavale Resources Limited (ASX:ADD) has reported assays from five reverse-circulation holes drilled beneath the 1.5-kilometre-long London-Victoria open pit in New South Wales.
The holes totalled 1,110 metres and all returned reportable gold mineralisation. The company said four holes intersected mineralised intervals at least 20 metres wide, adding drill coverage between earlier results ahead of a Mineral Resource update targeted for the third quarter of 2026.
Selected new intersections reported by Adavale include:
- 38 metres at 0.96 g/t gold from 142 metres in ALRC075, including 3 metres at 1.73 g/t gold from 155 metres and 10 metres at 1.16 g/t gold from 162 metres
- 38 metres at 0.87 g/t gold from 138 metres in ALRC073, including 7 metres at 2.16 g/t gold from 138 metres
- 27 metres at 0.90 g/t gold from 120 metres in ALRC074, including 16 metres at 1.22 g/t gold from 127 metres
- 20 metres at 0.95 g/t gold from 149 metres in ALRC071, including 4 metres at 1.13 g/t gold from 157 metres

The company said the ALRC074 interval widens to 48 metres at 0.71 g/t gold using. a0.3 g/t cut-off and four metres of internal dilution, and described that interval as close to true width. Other reported intervals are downhole widths; the announcement says interpreted geometry varies within the shear-hosted system.
Assays from another 10 holes remain in processing. Adavale is also undertaking metallurgical test work and preliminary scoping studies while it continues the brownfields drill-out.
Adavale Resources managing director David Ward:
This batch is valuable because it links broad gold intervals across adjacent drill sections and at increasing depth beneath the pit. The repeated intersections in ALRC073, ALRC074 and ALRC075 reinforce the scale and internal consistency of the mineralised corridor.
Importantly, mineralisation intersected in many of these holes will be adding significant volume to the inventory for the upcoming Mineral Resource Estimate update due in the coming weeks.
