540,000 OZ GOLD AT 4.1 g/t INITIAL JORC RESOURCE ESTIMATE AT IDENBURG

Far East Gold announces promising resource estimate at Idenburg Project, Papua Province

Far East Gold (ASX:FEG) has released an independent initial JORC Inferred Resource Estimate (MRE) of 540,000 ounces of gold at a grade of 4.1 g/t, along with 468,000 ounces of silver at 3.6 g/t, for its Idenburg Project in Papua Province. The estimate, determined by SMG Consulting, draws on data from three out of the 14 identified prospects across the 95,280-hectare Idenburg CoW and was achieved without any additional drilling, using topographic surveys for added precision.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Total Inferred JORC resource of 540,000 ounces of gold at 4.1 g/t and 468,000 ounces of silver at 3.6 g/t.
  • The resource is based on the Sua, Bermol, and Mafi prospects, using historical drill data enhanced by topographic surveys and updated 3D deposit modelling. These three prospects represent part of the 14 identified areas within the Idenburg CoW.
  • Previous exploration has focused on only 30% of the total CoW area, indicating significant unexplored potential for further resource expansion.
  • Resource estimates align with the initial exploration targets outlined by SMG in Far East Gold’s June 2024 Exploration Target Report.
  • Future exploration plans include a detailed surface mapping and sampling program, followed by Phase 1 drilling across the three key prospects.
